Crude oil extended losses Wednesday after the U.S.
government reported a surprisingly big increase in gasoline stockpiles.
Light, sweet crude for July delivery was recently down 93 cents, or 1.3%, at
$69.54 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude on the ICE
Futures exchange fell 78 cents to $69.46 a barrel. »

Argentina's grain exporters reached a deal with the
government late Tuesday to pay farmers a higher price for grain in exchange for
export permits, a representative of the CIARA-CEC oilseed and grain exporter

Canola contracts on the ICE Futures Canada platform were
trading in a mixed range with the nearby July future down and the November and
January contracts up.
Reports of Canadian canola cancellations by China sparked

Weekly exports of South African white corn fell
sharply to 11,419 metric tons last week from 76,413 tons the week before, the
South African Grain Information Service said Wednesday.
